My name is Valerio D'amore, I was born in Naples and moved to Warsaw, the beautiful Polish capital, in 2013.
Photography and music are my two great passions!
I want to emphasize that I'm a freelance photographer; I'm not a professional photographer; I just love taking pictures.
My passion for photography began at the age of 16, when I started taking my first photographs of friends and relatives, for example at birthday parties, at the beach, or with family.
Later, I developed this passion using more professional cameras.
I've always loved photography, as the art of creating an image using light seems fantastic to me.
In 2018, I was issued a photography license by the Marketing Office of the City of Warsaw.
My passion for music was passed on to me by my father many years ago, as he was a professional musician, songwriter, and singer, having graduated from the Conservatory of Naples.
Thanks to him, I began to take my first steps, listening to the first LPs of great artists, both Italian and American: from Elvis Presley to Frank Sinatra, Massimo Ranieri, Pooh, Adriano Celentano, Claudio Baglioni, and many others.
Music has always been my traveling companion. I often found myself performing at various weddings of my relatives because, knowing of my passion, they would jokingly ask me: "Valerio, why don't you sing us a nice song?"
One day my father said to me:
"If one day you decide to sing, do it like a true professional, listening and studying the lyrics carefully. Remember that there's a story in every song."
